Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Digital Project Manager to lead one or more large, complex strategic initiatives within an insurance environment. This role requires a seasoned delivery professional with a strong track record of executing digital projects on time, within budget, and to scope. This is an initial 6-month contract, with strong likelihood of renewal, onsite. Based in Cape Town. Key Requirements 810 years Project Management experience in a Digital environment Proven delivery of multiple complex, strategic digital projects Insurance industry knowledge (policies, procedures, systems) Experience across Savings & Income, Investments, and Digital Products Agile methodologies expertise Qualifications & Certifications Relevant degree (Finance, IT, Computer Science) PMP / PgMP / ACP / CAPM / PRINCE2 Agile / SAFe Lean Portfolio Management (essential) CSM preferred Key Responsibilities Establish project governance and delivery frameworks Develop and manage consolidated project plans Drive stakeholder engagement across business, technology, compliance, and vendors Manage risks, dependencies, and reporting (RAID, dashboards, RAG status) Deliver clear communication to senior leadership Lead change management and ensure operational readiness Preferred Experience Rewards programmes Data analytics initiatives This role suits a decisive, results-driven leader who thrives in complex, evolving environments and can confidently influence senior stakeholders while ensuring accountability across teams.
