About the Role
We are seeking an experienced E-commerce Manager to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our e-commerce infrastructure, you will lead high-performance WooCommerce platforms with a focus on scalability and API integration. You will work remotely from the UK, with hours aligning with UK time zones.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead high-performance WooCommerce platforms with a focus on scalability and API integration
- Manage and optimize the company’s main WooCommerce site
- Develop new online platforms in collaboration with internal and external developers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer experiences
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues in collaboration with developers
- Build and manage additional e-commerce sites as needed (desirable)
- Monitor UX/UI and ensure responsive, up-to-date site content (desirable)
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing WooCommerce platforms
- Proven API integration experience between WooCommerce and external systems
- Technically hands-on with strong troubleshooting and optimisation skills (desirable)
- Familiarity with other platforms like Shopify (desirable)
- Understanding of SEO tools and web analytics (e.g. SEMrush, GA) (desirable)
- Experience with CRM tools and digital marketing platforms (desirable)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (no formal education mentioned)
