Cape Town City Centre: FullStack JavaScript Developer

Key responsibilities Build, maintain and improve our fullstack platform using React, Node.js and MongoDB Own the frontend architecture to keep it fast, modular and reliable Develop and maintain secure backend APIs that scale Implement new product features that enhance how our customers use the platform Apply good security practices throughout the application stack Maintain and improve existing CI/CD pipelines and automate repetitive tasks Keep containerised environments secure and production ready Plan and execute migrations and refactors with minimal disruption Contribute to clear and usable UI/UX for security operations Document systems, code and architecture so others can build on your work Skills & Experience 3 years experience delivering production full-stack TypeScript applications across frontend and backend Production experience with React and Node.js Strong understanding of API design, data modelling and system architecture Comfortable working in containerised environments Ability to build reliable and secure features efficiently Security awareness in both design and implementation Interest in automation and clean deployment practices Good communication and documentation skills It would be advantageous to have: Experience with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch Exposure to security focused environments or SOC operations Familiarity with Auth0 and AWS integrations Experience with multi-tenant architecture Qualifications Bachelors degree in CS/Software Engineering (or similar) or equivalent experience. AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect (Associate).
