About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Administrator to join our Branding Sector team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our administration team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Sales Team and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact clients by phone to confirm quantities and details related to submitted quotes
- Check all artwork information carefully to ensure accuracy, including details, colour specifications, and spelling
- Communicate with the Artwork Department regarding any required revisions or updates
- Ensure artwork from Layout Artists is accurate and received in time to meet deadlines
- Follow up with clients to obtain artwork approvals within the required timeframes
- Keep accurate records of all allocated quotes, orders, and their current status
- Provide administrative support to the Sales Team, including Account Managers and Management
- Manage and respond to email correspondence in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with general departmental duties and provide support when colleagues are unavailable
Requirements
- Matric or an equivalent qualification
- Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans, with the ability to read, write, and communicate confidently in both languages
- Professional and clear communication skills via phone and email
- Good general computer skills and digital confidence
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in your work
- Ability to manage pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivated with an energetic and proactive attitude
Qualifications
- Experience using Google Workspace will be beneficial (not required)
