We’re Hiring: IT Scrum Master | Agile Champion Wanted! Are you a skilled Scrum Master who thrives on empowering Agile teams and driving delivery excellence? Join our dynamic IT environment where servant leadership, collaboration, and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything we do. What You’ll Do: Be the servant leader and Agile coach for a high-performing, self-organising team. Facilitate all key Scrum ceremonies and foster a culture of delivery, quality, and ownership . Partner with Project and Programme Managers to align team efforts with broader delivery goals. Shield your team from distractions and scope creep, ensuring focus and flow. Help identify and remove impediments, escalating when needed to keep momentum strong. Support the Product Owner in prioritisation and backlog refinement. What You Bring: Deep understanding of Scrum principles , Agile values, and Lean thinking. Strong facilitation and coaching skills with a knack for resolving team conflicts. Experience in JIRA, Confluence , and Agile delivery frameworks. Solid grasp of software development and DevOps practices. Bonus: Insurance industry experience is a plus! ? Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Scrum Master to lead two high-performance teamsone focused on Cloud for Customer (call-center technology) and the other on Digital Marketing. The successful candidate will be proactive, hands-on, and capable of ensuring seamless delivery through strong facilitation, communication, and leadership skills. This is a contract position based in Cape Town, On-site. Key Responsibilities Lead and Facilitate Teams: Act as the Scrum Master for two teams, guiding them in Agile and Scrum practices, and fostering a results-oriented environment. Ensure Delivery: Drive the teams to meet their commitments, remove impediments, and support continuous improvement. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear, transparent communication with team members, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure alignment and transparency. Foster Agile Mindset: Promote Agile principles beyond Scrum ceremonies, embedding an Agile and delivery-focused culture across teams. Team Support & Development: Support team members in their professional growth, encourage collaboration, and cultivate high-performance team dynamics. Monitor Progress & Metrics: Track team progress, analyze metrics, and report on delivery status and team health. Bridge Gaps: Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers, and other stakeholders to ensure clarity of goals and priorities. Candidate Requirements Proven Experience: Demonstrable experience as a Scrum Master in a professional environment with real-world project delivery; certifications alone are not sufficient. Hands-on Approach: A proactive, “do-er” mindset with a strong focus on enabling delivery rather than merely facilitating Scrum ceremonies. Strong Communication Skills: Able to effectively communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels. Leadership & Facilitation: Skilled in guiding teams through challenges, facilitating discussions, and fostering a collaborative environment. Domain Knowledge: Experience working with cloud-based solutions and digital marketing initiatives is advantageous. Personality & Adaptability: Capable of managing diverse, high-performance teams with varied personalities and skillsets. Results-Driven: Committed to ensuring that teams deliver value on time, within scope, and to the expected quality standards. Preferred Skills & Experience Extensive experience working with call-center technologies or SaaS cloud solutions. Prior experience in digital marketing projects, social media, and below-the-line campaigns. Knowledge of Agile frameworks beyond Scrum (e.g., Kanban, SAFe) is a plus. Ability to mentor and coach team members and stakeholders on Agile best practices.
