About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Administrator to join our team in Cape Town. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing our cashbook function, preparing accurate financial reports, and ensuring the accuracy of our financial data. If you have a strong understanding of cash flow management and excellent Excel skills, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full cashbook function
- Manage weekly bank reconciliations
- Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly cashflow reports for management
- Perform forex administration, including exposure schedules, foreign payments, FECs, and recording gains and losses
- Handle VAT-related tasks, such as monthly CSA and CAH returns, reconciliations, and SARS queries
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with budget versus actual reporting
- Support audits with schedules and queries
Requirements
- A Degree in Finance
- 23 years experience in bank and general ledger reconciliations
- Experience working on accounting systems
- Strong understanding of cash flow and cash position
- Advanced Excel skills
- Manufacturing or industrial environment exposure is a nice-to-have
