About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Group Reservations Coordinator to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our reservations department, you will be responsible for managing group bookings within a luxury hotel environment and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage group bookings from inception to completion, ensuring seamless execution and exceeding client expectations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and other stakeholders to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with the events team to ensure accurate event details are communicated to all relevant parties.
  • Utilize industry knowledge and expertise to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services to clients.
  • Monitor and report on group bookings, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in group reservations or a related field within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving business growth through strong relationships with corporate clients and travel agents.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel systems and software, including group booking management tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
