About the Role
We are seeking a customer-focused and proactive Service Desk Agent to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our service desk, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, proactive system monitoring, and timely incident resolution while meeting SLA requirements.

- Performing daily application availability checks and event monitoring tasks
- Taking ownership of problems and seeing them through till completion
- Ensuring timely communication with clients regarding Incidents logged
- Meeting relevant Service Level Agreements in the Call Logging System
- Working well with colleagues to ensure calls are assigned to next resolver groups within specified timeframes
- Adhering to customer Working Instructions (WI) or management instructions
- Following instructions and executing correspondence correctly
Requirements
- Telephony soft skills qualifications and/or Call center/Service Desk experience
- English language proficiency for conversational skills and email communication
- Excellent Customer Interaction and communication
- Service Desk Experience
- Call Centre Experience
- Event Management Experience
- Incident Management Experience
- Multi-tasking skills
- Telecommunication experience
Qualifications
- National Senior Certificate/Matric/N3/Grade 12
- A N Pass (typical recruitment checks, including reference and criminal checks)
- ITIL v3 certification (preferred/knowledge)
- Linux/Unix qualifications and/or experience (preferred/knowledge)
