About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SPA Reservationist (Back-up SPA Therapist) to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a dual role, you will be responsible for both reception duties and performing spa therapies, with a primary focus on reception. You will be working in a luxury spa setting, providing exceptional guest experiences and driving sales through upselling spa services and retail add-ons.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make bookings and respond to emails and phone calls
  • Perform spa therapies as required
  • Manage guest communication across multiple channels (phone, email, and in person)
  • Handle bookings, payments, and scheduling adjustments accurately
  • Multitask and prioritize in a high-volume environment
  • Upsell spa services and retail add-ons

Requirements

  • South African citizen
  • Certified / Diploma in Beauty Specialist / Health & Skin Care / Beauty Therapy / Somatology / Cosmetology SAAHSP / ITEC / CIDESCO / CIBTAC accredited qualification
  • Computer confident with proficiency in MS Office and SPA software systems (ESP / Headstart / SilverSpa or similar)
  • Excellent guest communication and command of English

  • R12,000 Basic Salary per month
  • 10% Treatment Commission on any services performed by you
  • 10% Retail Commission on any products sold by you during your treatment
