About the Role
Elev8, a leading global strategic management consulting firm, is seeking an Engagement Manager to join their dynamic consulting team in Cape Town. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-impact strategy and commercial transformation projects for major international clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead workstreams within strategy and performance improvement engagements
- Structure problems, develop hypotheses, and oversee rigorous analysis
- Drive commercial diagnostics (pricing, margins, sales effectiveness, contracting)
- Design and implement practical commercial tools and models
- Develop executive-level presentations and insight-driven deliverables
- Mentor and guide consultants and analysts
- Engage with senior stakeholders and facilitate workshops
- Support rollout of transformation initiatives and capability building
- Manage project plans, risks, and stakeholder coordination
- Contribute to business development and thought leadership
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Accounting, Actuarial Science, or related field
- Strong academic track record
- 4–7 years’ experience in consulting, strategy, or commercial analytics
- Proven experience leading analytical workstreams in complex environments
- Strong expertise in pricing, financial modelling, and performance improvement
- Experience working in high-intensity, multi-stakeholder environments
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience
