Job Summary
Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: Degree in finance and / or related field of study 5+ years grant management / accounting experience including the preparation of audit committee reports, management accounts and income & expenditure statements 5 years experience in management of staff Experience working on SAP Business 1 or similar Knowledge of MS Office as well as grants policies and procedures Knowledge and implementation of SARS rules on VAT of income The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to: Ensuring SOPs and policies are in place and develop a dashboard for grant visibility Oversee debtors and ensure invoicing takes place Quarterly reporting to risk committee and oversee issuing of grant related information Oversee grants management process flow Develop/maintain expertise in grant proposal and funder requirements Ensure financial requirements are met Develop/maintain a database for active grants Ensure funder specific compliance requirements are met Maintain a high level of knowledge of grant contract terms and conditions Ensure cohesion between various departments Sign off on all funder financial reports and present to CFO Manage organizational revenue Keep accurate and up to date database of changes to status of projects
