About the Role
Stage Zero, a leading FMCG company in South Africa, is seeking an experienced National Warehouse and Logistics Manager to oversee all national warehouse activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multiple warehouses across different locations, ensuring efficient operations, productivity, and safety. With a proven track record of managing large-scale distribution centers, the successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our extensive distribution network.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Strategically manage all warehouse operations in compliance with company policies and visions
- Develop long-term strategies for warehouse expansion, capacity planning, and resource allocation to meet business needs
- Implement and optimize operational policies and procedures across large-scale operations
- Oversee inventory levels across locations, implementing systems for tracking and replenishing stock
- Ensure all warehouse operations comply with safety regulations and company policies
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess warehouse efficiency and productivity
- Prepare regular reports on warehouse operations, inventory levels, and performance metrics for senior management
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Relevant degree/diploma in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration
- Minimum of 7 years proven experience managing large, multi-site distribution centers, specifically within FMCG, with multiple shifts and a large workforce
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable
