??Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Night Shift Supervisor to oversee all production and operational activities during night hours at a concrete manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of industrial processes, and the ability to maintain safety, quality, and efficiency standards under pressure. This role is critical to ensuring uninterrupted production and smooth handover to day operations.
??Key Responsibilities
- Supervise night shift production, ensuring output meets quality and quantity targets
- Monitor staff performance, enforce discipline, and ensure adherence to shift schedules
- Conduct pre-shift briefings and post-shift handovers with clear reporting
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Troubleshoot operational issues and escalate where necessary
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of machinery and equipment
- Record production data, downtime, and incidents accurately
- Coordinate with logistics and dispatch teams for timely loading and delivery
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and enforce standard operating procedures
??Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (concrete or construction materials preferred)
- Strong understanding of production workflows, safety protocols, and team management
- Ability to lead and motivate teams during night operations
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a factory setting
- Willingness to work night shifts on a rotational or fixed basis
- Matric required; technical or supervisory training advantageous
