About the Role
Hire Resolve is currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager in the Tipper trucks industry to join our client’s team. As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the trucking operations for our clients. This includes coordinating the transportation of materials using tipper trucks, ensuring efficient operations and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate tipper truck operations for the transportation of Bulk Commodities
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials to designated locations.
- Manage a fleet of tipper trucks, including maintenance and scheduling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize logistics processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with trucking operations.
- Manage and develop a team of trucking professionals.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement sustainable solutions.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics or similar essential
- At least five years operational experience at management level in the tipper truck industry
- Experience with Bulk Commodities
- Proven track record of managing a fleet of tipper trucks and coordinating transportation operations.
- Strong knowledge of trucking processes, maintenance, and scheduling.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
