About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a professionally registered architect to join their team in Cape Town. As an integral part of our construction support, insurance claim facilitation, and small contractor empowerment through financial support initiatives, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to cashflow and project programme
- Meet all project and reporting deadlines
- Maintain and update project server regularly
- File all documentation accurately and systematically
- Manage consultants appointments and monitor their performance
- Oversee contractors appointments and assess their performance
- Ensure full compliance with internal processes and protocols
- Manage contracts in line with JBCC and NEC frameworks
- Verify and check correctness of invoices
- Review and approve invoices for payment
- Evaluate appointments, additional fees, and related contractual matters
- Facilitate and support successful Auditor General audits
Requirements
- Strong understanding of CIDB, PROCSA, and Professional Fee Scales
- In-depth knowledge of consultant appointments processes
- Effective problem-solving through analysis and critical questioning
- Clear and articulate communication skills
- Demonstrates resilience under pressure and maintains composure
- Deadline-driven with strong processing and organizational abilities
- Highly meticulous, detail-oriented, and thorough
- Adheres strictly to procedures, protocols, and instructions
