Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Manage project execution, ensuring adherence to project plans and milestones.
- Coordinate and manage project teams, including internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Client Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Gather and document client requirements, translating them into actionable project plans.
- Provide regular project updates and reports to clients and stakeholders.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and assess project risks and issues, developing and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Proactively address project challenges and ensure timely resolution.
- Software Implementation:
- Oversee the implementation of ERP, CRM, and other business management solutions.
- Ensure seamless integration of software solutions with client systems.
- Coordinate and manage software testing and user training.
- Project Monitoring and Control:
- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure adherence to project budgets.
- Manage project changes and ensure proper documentation.
- Conduct post-project evaluations and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in software implementation or IT consulting.
- Strong understanding of ERP and CRM systems.
- Excellent client management and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile).
- Experience working with South African businesses is a plus.
- Ability to travel to client sites as required.
