Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation
Define project deliverables, milestones, and success criteria
Coordinate project activities and ensure adherence to established timelines
Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions when necessary
Manage project budgets and track expenses against allocated funds

Team Leadership & Collaboration

Lead cross-functional project teams of varying sizes
Facilitate effective communication between team members, stakeholders, and management
Conduct regular project meetings, including kickoffs, status updates, and retrospectives
Motivate team members and resolve conflicts when they arise
Foster a collaborative environment focused on achieving project objectives

Stakeholder Management

Identify and engage key stakeholders throughout project lifecycle
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management
Manage stakeholder expectations and requirements changes
Present project updates and results to executive leadership
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners

Risk & Quality Management

Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies
Implement quality assurance processes and standards
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations
Document lessons learned and best practices for future projects
Continuously improve project management processes and methodologies

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
Minimum 3-5 years of project management experience
Experience managing projects with budgets of $100K+ and teams of 5+ members
Proven track record of successful project delivery

Skills & Competencies

Strong leadership and team management abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Asana, Jira, etc.)
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Methodologies & Certifications

Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies
Familiarity with change management principles
PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification preferred

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in relevant field
Experience in [specific industry] projects
Six Sigma Green Belt or similar process improvement certification
Experience with budget management and financial analysis
Previous experience in a matrix organization structure
