Job Description
Responsibilities:
– Prepare cost estimates for construction projects
– Conduct feasibility studies and provide cost analysis
– Prepare and negotiate contracts with contractors and suppliers
– Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction process
– Prepare and submit progress reports to clients and project managers
– Assist with the procurement of materials and services
– Provide advice on cost planning and value engineering
– Prepare bills of quantities and tender documents
– Assess and certify payments to contractors
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
– Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
– Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant Quantity Surveying software
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Excellent communication and negotiation skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Knowledge of local building regulations and codes
