About the Role
Amex Truck Parts is seeking a motivated and experienced External Truck Part Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will promote and sell truck parts to customers, both in person and over the phone, while providing exceptional customer service to drive sales and meet revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with both new and existing customers
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate truck parts solutions
- Provide accurate product information and pricing to customers
- Process sales orders accurately and efficiently
- Follow up on sales leads and inquiries in a timely manner
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues
- Meet or exceed sales targets and goals
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 4 years of experience in truck parts sales or a related field
- Strong knowledge of truck parts and industry trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 -5 years experience in external sales, preferably within the truck parts or heavy commercial vehicle industry
- Proven knowledge and experience selling parts for MAN, Mercedes-Benz Trucks, Scania, and Volvo (OEM and/or aftermarket)
- Strong understanding of truck components and systems (engine, drivetrain, suspension, braking, etc.)
- Ability to accurately identify and source parts using part numbers, catalogues, and VINs
- Existing relationships with fleet owners, transport companies, workshops, or logistics businesses will be an advantage
