About the Role
Tumaini Consulting is seeking an experienced Demand Planner to join their team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the client’s food manufacturing business, utilizing their expertise in forecasting, inventory control, and stock management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement replenishment plans that optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts
- Analyze sales data and market trends to inform forecasting and demand planning decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of demand planning strategies
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels and identifying opportunities for improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor of Commerce in Supply Chain Management or related field
- Proven experience in replenishment planning within the food manufacturing industry
- 35 years of experience within the food manufacturing industry (note: this is likely an error, as it’s highly unlikely to find someone with 35 years of experience)
