About the Role
A well-established Property Development Company based in the Cape Town Seaboard area is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to oversee its financial operations and ensure the company’s financial health and sustainability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, and cash flow projections
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audits, and statutory requirements
- Manage financial risks, cost control, and investment strategies
- Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and payroll functions
- Liaise with banks, auditors, and other financial institutions
- Implement and monitor financial policies and internal controls
- Support senior management in strategic financial decision-making
Requirements
- BCom in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA(SA) preferred)
- 5 years of experience in a senior financial role, preferably within property development or real estate
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and compliance regulations
- Proficiency in financial software and accounting systems
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications: BCom in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA(SA) preferred)
