About the Role
We are seeking a Junior/Assistant Store Planner to join our team in Cape Town, where you will play a crucial role in coordinating and organizing the optimal positioning of all stock to promote sales. As a key member of our store planning team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our visual merchandising team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and organize the optimal positioning of all stock to promote sales
- Work closely with the visual merchandising team to implement design concepts and ideas
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of retail sales principles and customer behavior
- Utilize visual merchandising tools and techniques to drive sales and increase customer engagement
- Collaborate with store management and other teams to achieve business objectives
Requirements
- Proven experience in visual merchandising, preferably in a food retail environment
- Strong artistic and creative abilities, with a keen eye for design and detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using visual merchandising tools and techniques
- Knowledge of retail sales principles and customer behavior
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications (Bachelor’s, LLB, Matric, etc.) are not required for this role.
