About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team in Cape Town. As a Group of Retirement Estates, we require a skilled professional who can oversee the sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of goods and services required by the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business goals
Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate favourable terms with suppliers
Evaluate and manage supplier performance and relationships
Ensure timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining optimal inventory levels
Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs

Requirements

Grade 12
Formal procurement / supply chain qualification
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement or supply chain management
Strong negotiation and contract management skills
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Analytical mindset with attention to detail
