About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced Handyman to join a modern coworking office space based in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the facility, carrying out repairs, and ensuring the workspace remains safe, functional, and well-presented.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep throughout the property
• Conduct basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry tasks
• Carry out routine inspections to identify issues proactively
• Assist with office setups, furniture movement, and event preparation
• Respond efficiently to maintenance requests as they arise
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good order
• Coordinate with external contractors when required
Requirements
Previous experience in a handyman or maintenance position
Strong practical ability across general repairs
Ability to work independently with good time management
Professional communication and a reliable, responsible work ethic
Physically capable of performing manual tasks
