About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead a vibrant luxury city hotel in Cape Town. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional with strong leadership skills, a proven track record in hotel management, and the ability to drive operational excellence while ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all hotel departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, and Guest Services.
- Ensure service excellence across all guest touchpoints, maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism.
- Lead, motivate, and mentor the team, fostering a positive work environment with strong service culture.
- Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure profitability while upholding brand standards.
- Work with the executive team to implement strategies for growth, guest satisfaction, and competitive positioning.
- Ensure adherence to health & safety, labour law requirements, and operational policies.
- Build strong relationships with owners, key partners, and industry networks.
Requirements
Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in a senior management role within a 4* or 5* hotel environment. Hospitality Management qualification or equivalent preferred.
Salary & Benefits
