About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Bookkeeper to join our team in the Cape Town region. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our office.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers
- Process and reconcile invoices and payments
- Provide support with conveyancing matters, including preparing documents and coordinating with clients
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Perform other administrative tasks as required
Requirements
- Matric is essential
- Tertiary qualification beneficial
- Experience gained within Conveyancing specifically
- Proficiency in Lexis and Microsoft
- At least 5 years’ experience as a Legal Bookkeeper
- Afrikaans/English proficiency – non-negotiable
- Office hours: Mondays to Fridays 08h00 – 16h30, and on Fridays until 16h00
