This extremely busy daytime Bistro, artisan bakery & fresh farm deli in Cape Town offers a vast selection of organically farmed produce at the Deli . With take-away, counter or sit-down seating options, the cuisine is all home baked, farm-fresh and made from scratch. ProStaffSelect are in search of a skilled and highly organized DELI, RESTAURANT & BISTRO MANAGER to handle daily operations, oversee service, coordinate staff and manage procurement. REQUIREMENTS: – Qualification in retail, food service or hospitality management with a passion for FOOD & strong knowledge of farm cuisine – 4-6 years Retail and / or Restaurant Management experience in upmarket restaurants – Exceptional knowledge of MS Office, POS & Back of House Systems – Well presented, service focused, engaging personality, with the ability to deal with clientele – Ability to handle high-stress situations and work under pressure – Effective delegator / able to solve problems and find solutions – Shows attention to detail, must be self-disciplined with excellent planning and organizational skills while juggling multiple responsibilities – Flexible and physically fit – able to work long hours on your feet, on weekends and holidays – Exceptional knowledge of Artisanal Cuisine, including Craft Coffee – Positive personality focused on motivating and managing the team – Strong leadership skills & ability to innovate – Excellent Management, Admin, Planning & Stock Control Skills
