A large four-star hotel in Cape Town is seeking a Sales Executive specialising in the leisure and inbound travel sector. The successful candidate will have strong relationships with inbound tour operators, travel agencies, and other leisure market players.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drive sales within the leisure and inbound travel market segment

• Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agents, tour operators, and DMCs

• Develop targeted sales strategies to increase market share in leisure bookings

• Manage client accounts and ensure repeat business through exceptional service

• Attend trade shows, roadshows, and industry networking events to represent the hotel

• Conduct site inspections and presentations for potential clients

• Negotiate contracts and prepare sales proposals tailored to client requirements

• Monitor competitor activity and market trends to adapt strategies accordingly

• Achieve and surpass sales targets and prepare regular sales performance reports

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years sales experience in the leisure and inbound travel sector

• Strong database of industry contacts within travel and tourism

• Proven track record of achieving sales targets

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

• Professional and well-presented appearance

• Must have own reliable transport

• Highly motivated, self-driven, and able to work independently
