About the Role
A golf course located in the northern suburbs of Cape Town is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Chef de Partie Banqueting to join its established culinary team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled chef to work in a high-volume, well-structured kitchen with a strong focus on quality, consistency, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver high-quality dishes for banqueting and events
- Assist with menu preparation and food presentation to a high standard
- Supervise and support junior kitchen staff during service
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with hygiene and safety regulations
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your section
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely service
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Senior CDP, having worked in banqueting
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good leadership and communication skills
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event-based hours
