About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Unit Manager to lead our warehouse operations in Cape Town. As the face of our warehouse function, you will be responsible for ensuring precision, performance, and people leadership intersect. With your expertise, we aim to deliver seamless warehouse operations that support smooth airline service operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order fulfilment, and dispatch.
- Plan and coordinate workflow to meet daily and weekly operational targets.
- Oversee loading, offloading, and inventory rotation (FIFO).
- Maintain accurate stock records and investigate discrepancies.
- Lead and motivate a team across various functions, including dispatch, stores, cleaning, and driving.
- Manage scheduling, leave, and attendance to ensure consistent coverage.
- Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring all equipment and facilities are maintained.
- Prepare performance reports and support audits or inspections.
- Identify process improvements and assist with technology implementation.
- Oversee repair and maintenance of vehicles and warehouse facilities.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) essential; Diploma in Logistics/Warehouse Management advantageous.
- 35 years experience in warehouse supervision or management, ideally within retail, onboard catering, or inflight service.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with an eye for accuracy and safety.
- Computer literacy (MS Office and inventory systems).
- Sound knowledge of stock control, warehouse operations, and OHS standards.

- Grade 12 (Matric) diploma
