Wine Steward Luxury Boutique Hotel, Cape Town

Kendrick Recruitment is on the hunt for a passionate Wine Steward to join a prestigious luxury boutique hotel in Cape Town. This is your chance to be part of a team delivering exceptional, personalised wine experiences to discerning guests, all within a refined and inspiring environment.

Whats on offer:

Salary: R16,500 gross per month

Medical Aid: 50% contribution (main member only, Discovery Health Key Care plan)

Pension: 6% contribution, both ways (Momentum)

Gratuity: Paid monthly in arrears

Shift Work: Early (06:3015:30) / Late (14:0023:00) / Night (22:0007:00)

The Role:
As Wine Steward, youll support the Sommelier team in managing, presenting, and serving the hotels exceptional wine programme. Your expertise and enthusiasm will help deliver seamless, knowledgeable, and refined service across restaurants, private dining, and events. Youll also assist with cellar organisation, stock control, and guest recommendationsensuring every wine experience is memorable.

Who theyre looking for:

WSET Level 1 or 2 (or currently studying)

Experience in luxury hospitality, fine dining, or wine cellar operations

Strong communication, presentation, and guest service skills

Calm, organised, and enthusiastic under pressure

Clean disciplinary and strong attendance record

Genuine passion for wine and beverage service
