About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer (Algorithms) to join our team based in the Cape Winelands region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective algorithms in C/C++ and machine learning source code in Python. You will work closely with our training data and error bars to ensure accurate results.
Key Responsibilities
- Specifications for any required tests, whether for data gathering or final implementation testing
- Effective benchmarked and tested algorithms in C/C++
- Machine learning source code (training) in Python
- Well maintained training data and error bars on each measured parameter well documented
Requirements
- B.Sc., M.Sc. or B.Eng qualification
- At least 7 years work experience in programming and/or modeling
- Office based work with rare exceptions
- Fluent in English
- Willingness to travel for work
- Willingness to put in overtime on occasion
