About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to join Dante Group Ltd in Central Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our food manufacturing operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Manage plant budgets, KPIs, productivity, losses, and operational performance
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams, including production, maintenance, quality, and supply chain
• Implement lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, 5S, and cost reduction initiatives
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, and food safety regulations
• Drive change, foster accountability, and support sustainability and ESG initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Operations Management, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years proven experience in a Plant Manager or senior manufacturing leadership role
• Food manufacturing industry experience is essential
• Strong working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, and food safety regulations
