About the Role

The Centurion: Accountant role sits at the centre of financial control within a project-driven environment, ensuring that financial data translates into informed business decisions. This hands-on, operational finance role requires strong analytical ability, ownership of outcomes, and the confidence to engage stakeholders across finance and operations while maintaining rigorous financial governance.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly flash reports and management accounts.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of balance sheet reconciliations within deadlines.
Compile month-end files for reporting and audit purposes.
Analyse business unit performance against forecast and budget.
Provide insights into financial performance drivers and corrective actions.
Maintain and update Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules.
Analyse utilisation dashboards and investigate material variances.
Review project profitability with Project Managers.
Coordinate in-month review data from operational stakeholders.

Requirements

Matric (Grade 12)
Degree or relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce (advantageous).
