Duties:
- Hunt, prospect, and acquire new clients through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, and networking
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective clients from first contact to signed agreement
- Present and pitch Salix Recruitment’s services in a compelling, consultative way
- Conduct client meetings, site visits, and proposal presentations to win and retain business
- Negotiate contracts and Preferred Supplier List (PSL) agreements with key clients
- Track all activity in the CRM and report weekly on pipeline health, conversion rates, and revenue progress
- Collaborate with internal recruitment consultants to deliver seamless client experiences
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
- Matric is essential
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field is preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Business Development, Sales, or related role with a verifiable track record
- Proven B2B client acquisition experience, you know how to open doors and close deals
- Consistently exceeded individual sales and revenue targets in previous roles
- Recruitment and Sales industry knowledge is a strong advantage
- Own car, valid driver’s licence, and comfortable travelling across Gauteng
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-managed and target-driven, able to own your results without micromanagement
- Strong pipeline management and CRM discipline
- Resilient, competitive, and commercially minded
