• Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and assemblies for defence vehicle applications.
• Conduct 3D modelling, simulation, and analysis to ensure performance and structural integrity.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including electrical, manufacturing, and systems engineers.
• Produce detailed engineering drawings, BOMs, and documentation for production and testing.
• Support prototype builds, validation, and design verification testing.
• Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• BEng or BSc (Mechanical Engineering) degree.
• 3–5 years’ experience in mechanical design within the defence, automotive, or heavy vehicle industries.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, or similar).
• Experience with FEA, materials selection, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• South African citizenship due to defence project requirements.
