Job Description
- Take full responsibility for assigned projects from initial planning through to final completion
- Break down project scopes into structured, manageable work packages to support efficient execution
- Review and approve design documentation prior to construction to ensure technical accuracy and readiness
- Conduct regular site inspections to confirm compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to maintain alignment and ensure ongoing satisfaction
- Lead, mentor, and support project managers and technical teams to achieve project objectives
- Drive continuous improvement of systems and processes to enhance delivery efficiency and performance
- Ensure accurate invoicing, reporting, and project documentation throughout the project lifecycle
- Represent the organisation as a technical point of contact during client meetings and project discussions
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in industrial project engineering or a related sector
- Demonstrated track record in managing project execution and leading engineering teams
- Strong leadership capability with sound decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressure environment
- Excellent communication skills, able to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Practical, hands-on knowledge of the full project lifecycle, including procurement, design, and construction phases
Qualifications
- B-Tech or B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering (essential)
- Category C Designer certification (essential)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and MS Projects
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
