About the Role
Weexert is seeking an experienced Security Supervisor to oversee daily security operations and ensure the safety and protection of personnel, property, and assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the security industry, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to handle emergencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage security guards on assigned sites and ensure proper deployment.
- Monitor daily security operations and ensure all security procedures are followed.
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections to identify security risks and hazards.
- Prepare duty rosters, posting sheets, and attendance registers for security staff.
- Respond to emergencies such as theft, armed robbery, protests, or other security incidents.
- Investigate incidents and prepare detailed incident reports.
- Ensure access control procedures are followed by monitoring entry and exit of personnel and visitors.
- Train and mentor security officers to maintain high performance and discipline.
- Liaise with management, clients, and law enforcement when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with PSIRA regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in the security industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- PSIRA Grade B registration (valid).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good communication and report writing skills.
- Ability to handle emergencies and conflict.
