Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Skyjack Operator to join our team. The primary responsibility of this position is to safely and efficiently operate a Skyjack lift to assist with various construction tasks and projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction safety guidelines and procedures, as well as a proven track record of operating heavy equipment. Key Responsibilities: – Safely operate a Skyjack lift to transport materials and personnel to different heights on construction sites – Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries – Assist with loading and unloading materials from the lift – Regularly inspect and maintain the Skyjack lift to ensure proper functioning – Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and projects – Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation related to equipment operation and maintenance Qualifications: – Certification or training in operating a Skyjack lift or Scissor lift – Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment, preferably a Skyjack lift – Strong understanding of construction safety guidelines and procedures – Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously – Excellent communication and teamwork skills Physical Requirements: – Ability to lift and move heavy materials, up to 50 pounds – Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions – Ability to climb ladders and stairs to access the Skyjack lift – Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
