About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available in the electrical engineering industry for a Branch Manager, supporting branch operations, driving operational excellence, and contributing to the overall success of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all branch operations, ensuring efficient day-to-day functioning.
- Lead, train, and motivate branch employees, including hiring and conducting performance evaluations.
- Support sales activities by maintaining high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
- Manage stock control processes, including receiving, storing, and dispatching stock accurately.
- Ensure customers receive high-quality service and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
- Monitor branch performance metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Address operational challenges, implement effective solutions, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
- Ensure all branch activities comply with relevant regulations, policies, and industry standards.
Requirements
- Matric certificate.
- Tertiary qualification in Business Management, Operations, or a related field.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Experience in the electrical engineering industry or a similar sector preferred.
- Knowledge of stock management, sales support, and administrative processes.
- Understanding of customer service principles and practices.
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
