As a Solar Design Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing efficient and compliant PV systems, from feasibility studies through to detailed design. You’ll work closely with project managers and sales teams, ensuring technically sound and financially viable solar installations. This role offers exposure to advanced energy technologies and rapid career progression in a high-growth industry.
Education:
- BEng / BSc in Electrical Engineering or similar
- Renewable energy coursework advantageous
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- 3–6 years’ experience in solar PV system design
- Proficiency in PVsyst, AutoCAD, Helioscope or similar tools
- Grid-tied and hybrid solar system design experience
- Knowledge of local grid codes and compliance standards
- Ability to conduct yield assessments and technical proposals
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
