Job Summary
The purpose of the Chefs role is to plan daily menus, prepare high quality dishes, ensure meals are prepared on time whilst adhering to all health and safety requirements, and order and manage stock in a cost effective manner. Key Responsibilities Continuously producing exciting new food items/specials Create a prep list for the kitchen staff Manage food cost and inventory Maintain health and safety standards Ensure compliance with health codes and regulations Ordering of stock Do stock takes Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting Experience & Behavioural Competencies 3 to 5 years working experience in a similar environment GAAP would be advantageous Good written, verbal, telephonic and interpersonal communication skills A positive attitude Multitasking skills Professionalism, friendliness and politeness Team player Leadership skills Sober Habits Punctuality Closing date : Tuesday, 29 October 2024
