Job Description

Position: Junior Interior Designer Multi-Sector

Location: Umhlanga-Durban

R14 000 R18 000 CTC (experience depending)

We are seeking a Junior Interior Designer to support projects across luxury residential, retail, hospitality, and corporate interiors. This role is ideal for a design graduate or early-career professional looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional design environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with concept development, space planning, and layouts
Prepare mood boards, material palettes, and presentations
Produce 2D drawings and assist with 3D modelling/rendering
Support furniture, finishes, fabrics, and lighting selection
Assist with site visits, installations, and project documentation

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Interior Design / Interior Architecture
02 years experience (internships accepted)
Proficiency in AutoCAD; SketchUp/Revit advantageous
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills

Advantageous

Exposure to luxury, retail, hospitality, or corporate interiors
Experience with 3D rendering software
Valid drivers license
