Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior Millwright to join their team in the Steel Manufacturing industry in KwaZulu-Natal. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment to ensure the smooth running of our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment in the manufacturing plant
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery to detect and prevent issues before they occur
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety regulations
• Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and resolve technical issues
• Work with a sense of urgency to minimize downtime and maximize productivity

Requirements:

• Trade Certificate as a Millwright or equivalent Trade Certificate
• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, in the steel industry
• Familiarity with mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Knowledge of maintenance procedures and best practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and grow within the organization
