Job Summary

Manage all accounting related functions for assigned projects. Capturing of Purchase Orders and Billing of Approved Purchase Orders into the system correctly, the first time without errors. Obtaining the necessary authorization signatures for supplier transactions or payments from business before recording on the invoices on the system. Loading of payments onto the banking system after they have been fully approved.Review Tax Invoices for correct VAT treatment before recording and submitting for payment. Check allocations for the ledger codes are correctly documented on payment received. Any requests made by management must be responded to, with the answer to the request, or with a status report and an expected time of delivery.Saving supporting documentation onto the network in the structure provided. Proficiency with Pastel/Sage.Experience with SARS E-filing.Minimum 3 years prior experience working as an Accountant/bookkeeperProficient with Excel/Word/Gsheets/GDocs and other working knowledge on software.Statutory returns, Financial statements, Reconciliations.Experience working in an Accounting Environment, the more experience the better your chances.Work well under pressure while maintaining an accurate standard of work. Meet deadlines.
