• Reconcile and maintain the trial balance
• Support month-end and year-end close

• Maintain financial controls and processes

Education and experience:

• B.Com Accounting 
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in a similiar role preferably in manufacturing or FMCG

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full accounts payable and receivable function, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
• Manage month-end processes including reconciliations, journals, and preparation of the trial balance.
• Maintain and manage fixed assets and intercompany transactions.
• Supervise and support a small finance team, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Education: BCom Degree with completed articles (SAICA or SAIPA).
• Experience: Minimum 1 year post-articles experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Excel.
• Competencies: Excellent attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Non-negotiable: Must have experience managing both debtors and creditors, as well as exposure to fixed assets and intercompany accounts.

Salary: R500 000 – R600 000 per annum (depending on experience).
