Job Description

About the Role

The Plant and Yard Assistant – Construction / Plant Operations role supports asset management, yard operations, and administration to ensure plant availability, compliance, and operational efficiency in line with BOS standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with plant, asset, and yard operations per BOS process flow
Conduct pre- and post-inspections on internal and external assets
Perform minor maintenance and monitor preventative maintenance needs
Maintain accurate asset, service, calibration, and audit records
Support stock takes and asset register updates
Ensure documentation for drivers, operators, and labour is complete and on time
Assist with yard, building, and premises upkeep
Support SHEQ compliance and reporting
Provide operational support to Plant and Yard Manager

Requirements

Grade 12
2+ years technical or plant-related experience
Hands-on, operational mindset
Basic mechanical and plant knowledge
