About the Role
The Product Specialist Merchandiser will be responsible for ensuring the accurate merchandising and product placement in line with company guidelines, while also maintaining positive relationships with store staff and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure correct merchandising and product placement in line with company guidelines
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess stock
- Ensure pricing, promotions, and product information are accurate and visible
- Build and maintain positive relationships with store staff and management
- Provide feedback and reports
- Ensure products are clean, functional, and well-presented at all times
Requirements
- Matric (Grade12)
- Minimum 3 years of previous merchandising experience
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport (if applicable)
- Basic understanding of sales principles
