About the Role
Raizcorp is seeking a seasoned sales professional with deep experience and strong networks within the mining industry to drive our Enterprise & Supplier Development (ESD) solutions in the mining sector. This role is for a strategic dealmaker who understands how to navigate procurement structures, engage decision-makers, and close high-value deals within the mining ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure mining sector clients through strategic prospecting, industry networking, and leveraging existing relationships.
- Position Raizcorp’s supplier development solutions as the best fit for mining companies looking to enhance their B-BBEE scorecards.
- Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation, proposal development, and deal closure.
- Engage senior stakeholders by working closely with Mining CEOs, Procurement Leaders, Supply Chain Heads, and Transformation Executives.
- Develop bespoke proposals tailored to the specific needs of mining clients.
- Represent Raizcorp in the mining sector by attending industry events, mining expos, and executive roundtables.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients to secure renewals and drive upselling opportunities.
- Build your own portfolio with annuity-based commissions, resulting in income growth year-on-year as your client base expands.
Requirements
- Extensive Mining Industry Experience: 5+ years in B2B sales, business development, or solution selling in the mining sector.
- Strong Industry Network: Established relationships with mining executives, procurement teams, and supply chain leaders.
- High-Level Negotiation & Closing Skills: Experience winning large, complex contracts in the mining industry.
- Resilience & Commercial Acumen: A deep understanding of mining industry procurement, compliance, and ESD dynamics.
- Exceptional Communication & Influence: The ability to engage, educate, and persuade senior mining stakeholders.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office.
Qualifications
No formal education or certifications are required for this role. A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mining, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
