About the Role
Hire Resolve is currently working with a well-established construction company that is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the client’s satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project schedules, including all tasks, milestones, and dependencies
- Create and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost control
- Coordinate and manage all project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications
- Monitor project progress, identifying potential issues or delays and implementing corrective actions
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to management and clients
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards
- Manage and lead project teams, providing guidance, motivation, and support
- Ensure project documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date
- Resolve any conflicts or disputes that may arise during the project
Requirements
- Construction experience in large corporations with minimum 15 years of experience.
- Mechanical, Piping, structural steel experience. Installation of heat exchangers and pressurised equipment.
- Registered with PMI (Project management institute)
- PPM (professional project manager) certification
- SACPMP registration
- Computer literacy
- Ability to use MS Projects or Primavera and create a Microsoft Project programme
- Fluent in English
